Over the last 12 months, our eTrade proposition has built real momentum. Four new eTrade products have launched, broadening appetite and giving brokers greater flexibility to support a wider range of SME customer needs, all through efficient, familiar Software House journeys. The focus has been on helping brokers place business first time, with less friction, clearer outcomes and faster turnaround.
That experience is underpinned by continual improvements to service delivery, including faster responses, increased flexibility and clearer underwriting appetite. These enhancements haven’t happened in isolation; they’ve been shaped through close collaboration with brokers across the market, using real trading insight to improve day to day workflows.

Feedback gathered through Insurance Times has played a central role in shaping our digital development priorities, including a strong focus on simplifying journeys and improving consistency. One of the most significant next steps is the launch of a new eTrade broker portal, designed to make extranet trading simpler, more joined up and easier to navigate.
This next phase of development will introduce streamlined question sets, more intuitive search functionality and greater agility to support change - all aimed at improving ease of trade while retaining the underwriting clarity brokers expect.
Momentum continues. A further new eTrade product is due to launch soon, extending appetite and capability even further. Looking ahead, priorities include continued product development, broader appetite, increased straight through processing and further refinement of digital journeys.
