We're delighted to announce that in 2025, colleagues across Intact Insurance raised an incredible £13,108.88 for the Royal British Legion Poppy Appeal, including match-funding.
This is the highest amount we've ever raised compared to previous years. It's all thanks to the dedication and generosity of our teams across the UK.
On Tuesday 11 November 2025, our colleagues took part in various events to mark the day. From poppy stands in our offices to wreath-laying at local sites in Horsham, Liverpool, London, Gloucester and Chelmsford. We also saw support from our homeworking community - the effort of all our colleagues has been truly inspiring.
Every pound raised helps the Royal British Legion provide vital support to those who serve and their families.
We’re proud to share that we’ve received a formal letter of thanks from the Royal British Legion (RBL), recognising the outstanding contribution our colleagues made to the 2025 Poppy Appeal.
This achievement reflects the generosity colleagues bring to Intact each year and highlights the dedication of those who coordinate and manage the appeal across our sites. A huge thank you to our Armed Forces Support Network including Tracey Fisher, Victoria Bauling, Rachel Jacklin, Liz Beardmore, Niamh Barton and Ian Threlfall, whose efforts ensured colleagues could easily take part and donate.
This year’s message of thanks from the RBL feels especially significant as we recognise Tracey’s remarkable contribution ahead of her retirement later this year. Since joining in September 1984, Tracey has been a dedicated champion for veterans and the Armed Forces community. Her impact has been felt across Intact Insurance - most recently through her role in ensuring that our war memorials were relocated to the National Memorial Arboretum, honouring the memory of those named on them.
Our commitment to the Armed Forces community goes beyond fundraising. Through our Forces Family Support Policy, we provide paid leave and flexible working arrangements for colleagues with family members in active service or resettlement — helping ease the pressures military families often face.
