Winners at the Women in Insurance Awards 2025

We’re proud to share that we were honoured with the Contribution to Inclusion Award at the Women in Insurance Awards 2025, recognising our commitment to creating a more inclusive workplace within the industry. The award was accepted by our colleagues Faye Linton, Tracey Fisher, and Victoria Bauling, representing the passion and dedication behind this impactful work.
This year, our win was driven by the launch of our Forces Family Support Policy, a standout initiative that supports Forces Family Members (FFMs) – employees with a spouse, partner, or immediate relative currently serving, or in their resettlement period after leaving His Majesty’s Armed Forces. The policy provides tailored support to help FFMs balance their work and personal life when they are placed into unique and potentially unexpected situations as a direct consequence of their serving relation’s employment.
The judges recognised our policy as “a targeted, unique, high-impact initiative for a marginalised group, backed by emotional testimony and impressive recognition, and featuring some superb, DE&I focused ideas".
We’re incredibly proud of this recognition and extend our heartfelt thanks to everyone at Intact Insurance who helped bring this policy to life and continue to champion inclusion every day.
We are also tremendously proud to have had finalists representing Intact Insurance in 9 other categories.
So often, Forces families are forgotten. Our policy isn’t about our serving family members – it’s about us: the spouses, partners, children, parents. It’s given us a voice. And just being listened to has meant more to me than you can possibly know. I’m not ashamed to say I shed a few tears collecting our award – it means that much to me and all my fellow Forces family members.
