Standard cover
Our standard cover includes:
- Third-party injury
- Third-party property damage – up to £20 million for private cars and up to £5 million for commercial vehicles
- Legal costs
- Motor legal expenses – up to £100,000
- Personal accident benefit – up to £10,000 per employee
- Emergency treatment
- Medical expenses – up to £500
- Personal belongings – up to £500
- Windscreen and window damage
- Driving in the EU – up to 30 days
- Unauthorised use of vehicles by employees
- Unauthorised movement of obstructing vehicles
- Principals’ indemnity
- Misfuelling
- Lock replacement

Our target customers
This cover is suitable for:
- UK-based businesses with UK-registered vehicles
- Clerical, construction, retail, wholesale and manufacturing trades
- Fleets of 2 to 15 vehicles – you can extend cover to up to 20 vehicles mid-term
- Various types of vehicle, including cars, vans and tippers
- Vehicles with a Gross Vehicle Weight (GVW) up to 7.5 tonnes
- Drivers aged 25 and over – we can consider younger drivers depending on the risk
- Private cars worth up to £100,000 each
- Commercial vehicles worth up to £60,000 each
Risk appetite
We prefer to cover:
- Fleets of mainly private cars
- Businesses in operation for 3 or more years
- Tradespeople and professional sectors
- Businesses or vehicles based outside of main cities
- Fleets restricted to drivers over 30
- Businesses with a good claims history
- Businesses with a stable workforce and conviction‑free drivers
