Standard cover
We offer cover for:
- Damage to property – up to £3.5 million per premises
- Deterioration of stock – £1,000 as standard
- Money during business hours, in transit or a safe out of business hours – £3,500 as standard
- Transit – £2,500 per vehicle as standard
- Unspecified all risks – £2,500
- Business interruption – up to £3 million gross revenue
- Hotel guests’ personal items – £2,500 per guest
- Loss of alcoholic or soft drinks caused by leaks from storage containers or connected equipment
- Outside furniture cover – up to £5,000
- Loss of liquor licence – £100,000 as standard
- Employers' liability – £10 million
- Public and product liability – £2 million as standard

Optional cover
You can add extra cover for:
- Tobacco stock – up to £30,000
- Wines and spirits stock – up to £100,000
- Buildings and tenants improvements – up to £2 million per premises
- Loss of rent – up to £500,000 per annum and up to 60 months indemnity
- Specified all risks – up to £15,000 per item
- Owners Personal Contents – including property at other locations, alternative accommodation, personal money and credit cards and deterioration of food
- Fidelity – £50,000
- Personal accident – £35,000
- Terrorism
- Legal expenses – £100,000
You can also choose higher limits for some of your standard cover options.

- Small, unlicensed hotels, guest houses and bed and breakfasts
- Takeaway food providers, such as fish and chip shops
The cover is not designed for:
- Rental accommodation such as self-catering cottages, apartments, or holiday centres
- Premises used as an entertainment venue
- Outdoor catering vans or trailers

We prefer to cover businesses with:
- Standard construction premises
- No flood or subsidence loss history
- Property exposures under £3.5 million
- Annual turnover under £1.5 million
- A maximum of 2 property claims and 1 liability claim in the last 5 years
